GIVE THANKS FOR YOUR VICTORY

1 Corinthians 15:57
“ But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ!”

Our opening scripture today reminds us that our victory is not attained through our own strength or efforts, but it is a gift from God through our Lord Jesus Christ. In other words, God has already programmed the circumstance to end in victory for you as you yield to the Lord Jesus in all things. So, what should you do? Give thanks!

Thanksgiving begins with the recognition of who God is and what He has done. It is the key to having victory in all circumstances. Gratitude is more than just saying “thank you” for the blessings we receive. It is an attitude of the heart, a perspective that recognizes and acknowledges the goodness of God in every situation. It shifts our focus from our problems to God’s provision, so that even in the midst of trials, we can find reasons to be thankful – for His presence, His promises, and His faithfulness that never wavers.

Therefore, as the month of March comes to an end, dwell on this thought, and begin to thank the Lord for giving you victory in every situation. Take time to reflect on God’s goodness and faithfulness, and give thanks for the victories He has already won on your behalf. As you do so, you will find yourself walking in the fullness of the victory that is yours in Christ Jesus, and your life will become a testimony to His grace and power.

Prayer for the nation:
Father in the name of Jesus, we pray for the release of passionate labourers and missionaries, who will take the Gospel to the unreached in this nation, in Jesus name.

Prayer for the leaders:
Father in the name of Jesus, we pray that you will cause the leaders of this nation to give heed to wise Counsel that will bring about progress and peace to the nation, in Jesus’ name.

PRAYER FOR ISRAEL – (Ps 122:6)
Father in the name of Jesus, we ask today that there will be peace in Jerusalem and that your purposes be established in that city. Amen (Ps 122:6)

PRAYER FOR UNITY IN THE CHURCH
Father in the name of Jesus, we come against every form of bitterness, unforgiveness, malice and hatred in the Church; help us to work together in unity, in Jesus name.

PRAYER FOR SOULS/ REVIVAL
Father in the name of Jesus, we thank you for purchasing salvation for us on the cross of Calvary through the death, burial, and resurrection of your son, we pray that many will discover this love and surrender to your Lordship in their lives, in Jesus name.
