HONOUR CORRECTION
Proverbs 15:5 (NIV)
“ A fool spurns a parent’s discipline, but whoever heeds correction shows prudence.”
Prudence is a virtue that honours correction. In our opening scripture today, we are made to understand that those who heed correction demonstrate wisdom and understanding. Instead of reacting emotionally to criticism, a prudent person seeks to understand the reason for its mistakes and learn from them.
When you receive correction with humility and openness, you show that you value growth and improvement. Rather than resisting feedback, embracing correction give you the opportunity to become a better version of yourself.
Today, choose to embrace the corrections of your superiors, corrections in the Word, and by the Spirit, knowing that it is an essential part of your journey towards success and becoming the vessel of honour that the Lord has designed you to be. Glory be to God.

Startup Prayer: Dear father, give me the grace to maintain my composure when I am being corrected, in Jesus Name.
PRAYER FOR A NATION-SYRIA
45% of its population are unreached with the gospel. The largest religion is Islam and although the Syrian Christian minorities enjoy freedom and stability, finding housing and employment is increasingly challenging due to discrimination.
Prayer for the nation:
Father in the name of Jesus, we pray for the Christians in Syria, that they will be empowered by the Holy Ghost to preach the Gospel to the unsaved souls in the nation, in Jesus’ name.
Prayer for the leaders:
Father, we pray that the leaders of this nation will pay heed to wise Counsel that will bring about progress and peace to the nation, in Jesus’ name.
PRAYER FOR ISRAEL – (Ps 122:6)
Father in the name of Jesus, we ask today that there will be peace in Jerusalem and that your purposes be established in that city. Amen (Ps 122:6)
PRAYER FOR UNITY IN THE CHURCH
Father in the name of Jesus, we pray for grace to speak the truth to one another in love always in Jesus name.
PRAYER FOR SOULS/ REVIVAL
Father in the name of Jesus, we pray that the light of the glorious gospel of Christ will shine in the hearts of every unsaved person all around us today, in Jesus name.
