Often times, we are consumed by the pursuit of our own dreams and the demands of our personal goals, so much that we take no thought for the needs of the people in our lives.

Contrary to this, our opening text today instructs us to be conscious of others even as we pursue our own goals.

This places a responsibility on us to invest in the well-being of the people God has placed in our lives, helping them to surmount the challenges on their way to success.

Unfortunately, many who ignored this wisdom have missed out on opportunities that could have led to their prosperity. By failing to observe the pressing needs of others, some have lost out on avenues to create products and services that can benefit a wider audience. Some others have missed out on the opportunity to help persons in need and thereby earn God’s favour (Prov. 19:17).

Therefore, become sensitive and pay attention to the needs of those that God brings your way, and dedicate yourself to ensuring that they make progress in their own lives, even as you pursue your own goals.

Oh Lord, give me a heart of compassion for others in line with your will, in the name of Jesus.

🏞️ PRAYER FOR A NATION – MYANMAR
80% of its population are Buddhists. There is however an increasing response from the Buddhist majority, particularly monks to the Gospel of Christ, which is a huge answer to prayers.

1. Prayer for the nation: Father in the name of Jesus, we ask that you will send forth more labourers into the harvest field of Myanmar, in the name of Jesus.
2. Prayer for the leaders: Father in the name of Jesus, we ask that you will give the nation of Myanmar selfless leaders who will lead the people to righteousness, in the name of Jesus.
