ACTIVATING THE BLESSING

Malachi 3:10
“Bring the full tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. And thereby put me to the test, says the Lord of hosts, if I will not open the windows of heaven for you and pour down for you a blessing until there is no more need.”

The blessing we receive is a precious gift from God, but it requires our attention to function in our lives. As believers, we all have the blessing, but it’s our responsibility to service it so that it can function effectively in our lives. Just like a car needs regular maintenance to run smoothly, the blessing needs to be serviced through our actions and offerings.

Servicing the blessing means honouring the practices and requirements of our covenant with God. It’s about maintaining a lifestyle of righteousness and activating the benefits that come with the blessing. One way to service the blessing is through offerings, which are spiritual acts of giving that demonstrate your surrender and obedience to God. When you give an offering to God, you are acknowledging His ownership and trusting Him with the use of what you give.

Therefore, commit to servicing the blessing in your life through your offerings and your obedience to God’s Word. As you honour God with your giving and trust Him with the results, you will experience the fullness of the blessing in your life. Say Amen!

Startup Prayer: Father in the name of Jesus, as I present my offerings before you, cause me to experience the fullness of your blessing in my life, in Jesus Name.

PRAYER FOR A NATION – SOMALIA
77% of it’s population is unreached with the Gospel of Christ with Islam as the major religion. An infant Somali church is emerging amid great tribulation. Somali Christians are despised and heavily persecuted, even martyred but are also growing in faith and in vision.

Prayer for the nation:
Father in the name of Jesus, we ask that you strengthen the Christians in Somalia, that despite the persecutions they face, they may be bold to stand for the truth at all times, in Jesus name.

Prayer for the leaders: Father in the name Jesus, we ask that you grant the leaders wisdom to allocate and utilize the resources of the nation wisely, in Jesus name.

PRAYER FOR ISRAEL – (Ps 122:6)
Father in the name of Jesus, we ask today that there will be peace in Jerusalem and that your purposes be established in that city. Amen (Ps 122:6)

PRAYER FOR UNITY IN THE CHURCH
Father in the name of Jesus, we come against the spirit of offense, bitterness and anger that the enemy is using to create disunity in the church. We ask that you fill us with the spirit of love, peace and unity in Jesus name.

PRAYER FOR SOULS/ REVIVAL
Father in the name of Jesus, let the passion for lost souls burn in our hearts, that we may share the Good News of Christ Jesus every where we go, in Jesus name.
