BREAK THE CYCLE OF LACK

2Chronicles 31:5
“And as soon as the commandment came abroad, the children of Israel brought in abundance the first fruits of corn, wine, and oil, and honey, and of all the increase of the field; and the tithe of all things brought they in abundantly”

In our opening text today, we see a powerful example of breaking the cycle of lack through faithful giving and obedience to God’s commands. When King Hezekiah commanded the people to bring back the portion of the Levites that they had previously held back, they obeyed and gave until there was more than enough for the priests and the work of God. The result was an abundance that blessed the people and provided for the needs of the house of the Lord.

The mindset of abundance and provision is a reflection of God’s will for His children. When we faithfully bring in our offerings, tithes, and dedicated things into the house of God, we participate in breaking the cycle of lack and ensuring that His house has more than enough for its work and use.

Just as King Hezekiah did what was good and right in the sight of God and prospered, you too can experience the blessings of abundance and provision when you set your heart to restore honour in your dealings with the things of God. This is the way to break the cycle of lack. Glory to God.

PRAYER FOR A NATION – SOMALIA
77% of it’s population is unreached with the Gospel of Christ with Islam as the major religion. An infant Somali church is emerging amid great tribulation. Somali Christians are despised and heavily persecuted, even martyred but are also growing in faith and in vision.

Prayer for the nation:
Father in the name of Jesus, we pray that the door of the Gospel will be opened to the unreached people in this nation, in Jesus name.

Prayer for the leaders: Father in the name Jesus, we ask that you will help the leaders to develop innovative ways to grow the economy of this nation, in Jesus name.

PRAYER FOR ISRAEL – (Ps 122:6)
Father in the name of Jesus, we ask today that there will be peace in Jerusalem and that your purposes be established in that city. Amen (Ps 122:6)

PRAYER FOR UNITY IN THE CHURCH
Father in the name of Jesus, we ask that by your Spirit, the church in these last days will speak with one voice and make one sound unto your name, in Jesus name.

PRAYER FOR SOULS/ REVIVAL
Father in the name of Jesus, we bind and restrict the spirit of the air that operates through satellite and television to promote sin and wickedness, from operating in our city today, in Jesus name.
