MEDITATE FOR TRUTH
Joshua 1:8
“This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.”
Meditating on God’s Word is a simple yet powerful practice that allows us to soak in the truth and wisdom found in scriptures. It is carefully considering the Word for proper assimilation, so that it may affect our mindset and direct our actions.
Our opening scripture today stresses the importance of meditation to gaining momentum. It shows us that as we consciously dedicate time to reflect on God’s Word, seeking to know, assimilate and imbibe His truth, we set ourselves on the path of prosperity and success.
Therefore, begin today by setting aside quality time to reflect on a verse, chapter or story from the Bible, and consider what it means for your life. As you do this consistently, you will find comfort, wisdom, and a deeper understanding of God’s will for you, and gain a new momentum for your 2024.

Startup Prayer: Father in the name of Jesus, teach me to meditate on your Word faithfully this month, that I may gain a new momentum for my life, career and business in 2024.
PRAYER FOR A NATION – SOUTH AFRICA
The legacy of apartheid continues to impact the nation despite progress in some areas, inequalities and injustices of the past continue to shape the future. There is still the need of reconcilation among all races. Race and violent crime rates are alarmingly high. The proliferation of illegal firearms, poverty, desperation, and lack of Justice fuels hopelessness and anarchy.
Prayer for the nation:
Father in the name of Jesus, we pray that the light of the Gospel of Christ will shine unto the unbelievers in this land, that many will turn from crime and rebellion, to serve the living Christ in Jesus’ name.
Prayer for the leaders: Father in the name of Jesus, we pray for all unsaved souls within the government, we ask that you will show them your mercy, that they may find salvation and lead the people in godliness, in Jesus name.
PRAYER FOR ISRAEL – (Ps 122:6)
Father in the name of Jesus, we ask today that there will be peace in Jerusalem and that your purposes be established in that city. Amen (Ps 122:6)
PRAYER FOR UNITY IN THE CHURCH
Father in the name of Jesus, we ask for grace upon the church to walk in godliness, patience, love, and unity, in Jesus name.
PRAYER FOR SOULS/ REVIVAL
Father in the name of Jesus, we ask for supernatural provision of finances for all missionaries and labourers of the Gospel, that they will not be limited in spreading the Gospel to all nations, in Jesus name.
