RELEASE A SACRIFICE

2Samuel 24:24
 “And the king said unto Araunah, Nay; but I will surely buy it of thee at a price: neither will I offer burnt offerings unto the LORD my God of that which doth cost me nothing.

Giving sacrificially is another important way to gain momentum in your life. It is possible to give and not give sacrificially, and both do not carry the same weight before God. To sacrifice is to offer something that is of value to you unto God. It is a dimension of giving that has the ability to multiply the work of the blessing in your life.

King David gave that which cost him something as we see in our opening text today, Abel gave his best (Gen. 4:4), and Solomon broke all the records on giving (1Kings 3:4), and none of these failed to get God’s attention. This shows that sacrificial giving is necessary if we must enjoy an extraordinary level of prosperity and favour in our lives.

Therefore, when your next opportunity to give unto God arises, do not only give to the extent to which God has blessed you, but also consider what would be a sacrifice to you. Let God’s Spirit lead you to release such in faith, knowing that it has the power to bring God’s abundance and favour upon you and your household. This is the realm of sacrifice which would launch you into a new dimension of prosperity. Halleluyah!

PRAYER FOR A NATION – SRI LANKA
84% are unreached with the Gospel, while the largest religion is Buddhism. Sri Lanka has suffered much in the past generation from bloody civil wars, which caused many to emigrate, and over one million are displaced. Malnutrition, selective abortion, and child prostitution are on the rise in Sri Lanka.

Prayer for the nation:
Father in the name of Jesus, we pray against reoccurring wars, and we ask for lasting peace in the nation, in Jesus’ name.

Prayer for the leaders: Father in the name of Jesus, we come against every plan of the devil to cause division within the leadership of this land; we ask that you will help them to work together in unity, in Jesus name.

PRAYER FOR ISRAEL – (Ps 122:6)
Father in the name of Jesus, we ask today that there will be peace in Jerusalem and that your purposes be established in that city. Amen (Ps 122:6)

PRAYER FOR UNITY IN THE CHURCH
Father in the name of Jesus, we bind the spirit of offense, bitterness, and disloyalty among members of the body of Christ, in Jesus’ name.

PRAYER FOR SOULS/ REVIVAL
Father in the name of Jesus, we release angels to work for the success of our outreaches today, in Jesus’ name.
