TESTIFY OF GOD’S MERCY
Psalms 40:2
“He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings.”
We see the testimony of King David in our opening text today. Perhaps, if you had met King David in his glory and splendour, you would not have known about his turbulent days when he ran from cave to cave, and was hunted down by King Saul. In those dark moments of his life, God’s mercy sustained him. He declares that God brought him out of a horrible pit and established him on the rock.
Like King David, you should learn to testify of God’s mercy in your life. Often times, many in Church come across as perfect people; well-dressed, speaking church colloquial, and looking radiant. Some others who came for the first time may feel locked out because they came needing an assurance of God’s forgiveness and grace, needing to hear of your experience of God’s mercy.
Therefore, in encouraging the weak and overwhelmed today, let them know of how God’s mercy sustained you in your own time of weakness and error. Your testimony of God’s mercy would restore hope and strengthen the faith of those who are on the verge of giving up. This is another way of witnessing!

Startup Prayer: Father in the name of Jesus, I thank you for your abundant mercy upon my life. Help me to testify of your mercy day and night, and to give you glory, in Jesus name.
PRAYER FOR A NATION -SINGAPORE
The majority of its population is Buddhist. Singaporean society is built on dedicated labour, discipline, and self-reliance but emphasizes on performance and wealth. Materialism has noticeably increased. Much of Singapore’s influence is now dependent on imported labour from poorer countries who are exploited.
Prayer for the nation: Father in the name of Jesus, we pray for more effective teaching ministries that will cause the people to have a deeper revelation of the word of God to flood this nation, in Jesus name. .
Prayer for the leaders: Father in the name of Jesus, we pray that the leaders will be delivered from evil and from wicked and unreasonable men, in Jesus name. .
PRAYER FOR ISRAEL – (Ps 122:6)
Father in the name of Jesus, we ask today that there will be peace in Jerusalem and that your purposes be established in that city. Amen (Ps 122:6)
PRAYER FOR UNITY IN THE CHURCH
Father in the name of Jesus, we ask for the grace to walk in love and unity always, in Jesus name.
PRAYER FOR SOULS/ REVIVAL
Father in the name of Jesus, we pray for a revival of signs and wonders in our cities and nation, as our laborers go out in the field to share the message of salvation, in Jesus name.
