DO THE WILL OF GOD
John 5:30
“I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me”
Often times, the LORD impresses it on our hearts to make decisions that we might consider ‘inconvenient’, because He seeks to reach out to others. Abraham was called upon to offer his son, and he did it, just as a little boy gave up his five loves and three fishes so that a multitude can be refreshed (John 6). These and many more found strength to make such decisions because they knew by faith that God’s will is always the best for man.
If your life is all about yourself and the things you must get to make yourself more comfortable, I doubt that you are in the will of God. We have not been called just to please ourselves, but to live for Christ and the advancement of His Kingdom (2 Cor. 5:15). He Himself said that his passion is always to seek and save the lost. (Luke 19:10).
If you must live your life to please God, then you must be willing to do His will. As a general rule, your decisions must always be those that support the working out of your salvation and the helping of others to do the same. Let this mind by in you today as you prepare for 2024.

Startup Prayer: Father in the name of Jesus, help me to do your will today, and to make decisions that align with your purpose always, in Jesus Name.
PRAYER FOR A NATION -SINGAPORE
The majority of its population is Buddhist. Singaporean society is built on dedicated labour, discipline, and self-reliance but emphasizes on performance and wealth. Materialism has noticeably increased. Much of Singapore’s influence is now dependent on imported labour from poorer countries who are exploited.
Prayer for the nation: Father in the name of Jesus, we pray that the Christians in the land will be examples of believers in righteousness and holiness, causing many to be attracted to the Christian way of living, in Jesus Name..
Prayer for the leaders: Father in the name of Jesus, we ask that your peace will reign within the government of this land, that they will lead the people without distractions in Jesus name.
PRAYER FOR ISRAEL – (Ps 122:6)
Father in the name of Jesus, we ask today that there will be peace in Jerusalem and that your purposes be established in that city. Amen (Ps 122:6)
PRAYER FOR UNITY IN THE CHURCH
Father in the name of Jesus, we come against the spirit of self-centeredness, pride, and selfishness in the church, that is causing disunity and division among believers, in Jesus name.
PRAYER FOR SOULS/ REVIVAL
Father in the name of Jesus, we ask that you will give us more labourers who will be passionate to preach the Gospel to the ends of the earth, in Jesus name.
