LOOK FORWARD
Isaiah 43:18-19
“Remember not the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.”
As we stand on the threshold of a new year, it is natural to reflect on the outgoing 365 days and the accomplishments of the past twelve months. It is such a beautiful time to acknowledge the faithfulness of the Lord and reflect on His guidance and mercy all year-round. However, it is also the perfect time to look forward and position to begin the New Year aright.
Today, do not be drowned in the regret of what could have been, or swallowed up in the celebration of what was accomplished, but remember that God is set to do a new thing in 2024. Your focus should therefore be on how to best position yourself to receive what God has in store.
Therefore, spend today in fasting and prayers, consecrating yourself to the Lord, and seeking His mercy for the incoming year. Cap it all up by being in His sanctuary tonight as He transports us by His Spirit into the New Year by the hand of His prophet (Hos. 12:13). Be ready to receive the Word for the year and to run with it into the prosperity that God has set ahead of you. Halleluyah!

Startup Prayer: Father in the name of Jesus, I thank you for bringing me into the last day of 2023, and for the great and mind-blowing plans you have for me in the New Year. Help me to be wholly consecrated to receive all you have for me in 2024, in Jesus Name.
PRAYER FOR A NATION -SINGAPORE
The majority of its population is Buddhist. Singaporean society is built on dedicated labour, discipline, and self-reliance but emphasizes on performance and wealth. Materialism has noticeably increased. Much of Singapore’s influence is now dependent on imported labour from poorer countries who are exploited.
Prayer for the nation: Father in the name of Jesus, cause a revival to break out in the nation SIngapore, that the heart of many will seek to you, and they will acknowledge You as LORD, in Jesus name..
Prayer for the leaders: Father in the name of Jesus, we ask for your grace upon the leaders, that they will focus on leading the people and not be distracted by partisan politics in Jesus name.
PRAYER FOR ISRAEL – (Ps 122:6)
Father in the name of Jesus, we ask today that there will be peace in Jerusalem and that your purposes be established in that city. Amen (Ps 122:6)
PRAYER FOR UNITY IN THE CHURCH
Father in the name of Jesus, pray for the spirit of unity and oneness to rest on the church and every member of it, in Jesus name.
PRAYER FOR SOULS/ REVIVAL
Father in the name of Jesus, pour out your Spirit today, and cause the heart of the unsaved to yearn for you, and draw all men unto yourself, in Jesus Name.
