THE FORCE OF RIGHT WORDS
Job 6:25
“How forcible are right words! But what doth your arguing reprove?”
As believers, we are called to be mindful of the words we speak, because of their potential to build up or tear down. Just as Job recognized the force of right words, we ought to consciously use our words to build up our own lives and bring light and life to those around us.
Our words have the power to uplift, encourage, and bring about positive change in the lives of others. When we speak words of truth, love, and encouragement, we wield a force that can overcome adversity and bring hope to those who hear us.
Therefore, be intentional about the words that you speak, knowing that they have the power to impact your life and the lives of others around you. Do not be hasty with your words, but consciously speak what is edifying and comforting to those you would meet today, remembering that your words are an avenue for them to know the love of God. Halleluyah!
DAILY PRAYER GUIDE
Start-up prayer: Dear Father, help me to be mindful of the words I speak today, speaking life to all you will bring my way, in Jesus’ name Amen.
PRAYER FOR A NATION – SLOVENIA.
The churches in SLOVENIA are lacking in spiritual vitality. Christianity is rapidly declining into irrelevance while agnosticism, New Age and different forms of Eastern religious beliefs are increasing. Generally, there is spiritual apathy, even among those who notionally believe in God.
Prayer for the Nation: Father in the name of Jesus, we pray for a fresh revival in Slovenia: one marked by the conviction of sin, repentance from evil deeds, and obedience to Your Word, in the name of Jesus.
Prayer for the Leaders: Father in the name of Jesus, raise unto yourself faithful men in leadership, who will favour the cause of the Gospel in the nation, in Jesus name.
Prayer For Israel – (Ps 122:6) : Father in the name of Jesus, we ask today that there will be peace in Jerusalem and that your purposes be established in that city. Amen (Ps 122:6)
Prayer For Unity in The Church: Father in the name of Jesus, we disappoint and bring to nought every device of the enemy to cause division in the church, in Jesus name.
Prayer For Souls/Revival: Father in the name of Jesus, we break every stronghold keeping the people in our city bound to darkness, we set them free by the power of the Holy Ghost, in Jesus name.
