 BE DEVOTED TO PRAYER

Mark 1:35
“And in the morning, rising up a great while before day, he went out, and departed into a solitary place, and there prayed

The example of Jesus in prayer is our focus today. Despite his tight daily schedule and pressing demand for His presence in every city, the Bible shows us his priority for prayer. Our opening text shows us that he rose up early before day and separated himself to prayer.

Praying today and stopping tomorrow shows a lack of discipline in the place of prayer. The Bible says we ought to pray without ceasing, emphasizing the need to have a system in place that ensures that we pray consistently and according to a predetermined pattern.

Therefore, the practice of praying at a specific time, in a specific place, and for a specific duration, is one that you must discipline yourself to achieve in this year. Let your hunger for new experiences in God, and the pursuit of His presence motivate you to prioritize prayer in your privacy and in the company of other believers every day, because prayer is key to attaining your next level.

Start-up prayer: Father in the name of Jesus, give me a fresh passion for prayer today, and make me a person of prayer in your Presence, in Jesus Name.

PRAYER FOR A NATION – SOLOMON ISLAND.

The Solomon’s have a history of revivals in churches even up to 1990’s. However, new charismatic networks and churches emerged in another wave of spiritual life. Presently, Evangelical and Charismatic believers have grown in number across almost all denominations.

Prayer for the Nation: Father in the name of Jesus, we pray that the churches in this nation will be actively involved in reaching the lost souls in the land, in Jesus name.

Prayer for the Leaders:
Father in the name of Jesus, we ask that you will sovereignly place the right people in power, those that will implement your plan and will in the nation, in the name of Jesus.

Prayer For Israel – (Ps 122:6) : Father in the name of Jesus, we ask today that there will be peace in Jerusalem and that your purposes be established in that city. Amen (Ps 122:6)

Prayer For Unity in The Church: Father in the name of Jesus, we ask that you will help us to grow in love and unity as directed by your Spirit, in Jesus name.

Prayer For Souls/Revival: Father in the name of Jesus, we ask for greater wisdom, strategy and resources that will enable us reach more people in this city, in Jesus name.
