TAKE CHARGE IN THE SPIRIT
Romans 8:26
“Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. ”
To be without a compass at sea is a costly and deadly mistake, yet many persons live their lives in such a way; lost at sea in this world without counsel or guidance, whereas, God has not left us without help. Like a compass, He has given us His Spirit so that we would not be stranded or lost at any time (John 14:16-18).
In the Word and by His Spirit, God has designed for us to find direction and thereby make decisions in line with His will, leading to our prosperity. For example, God’s Spirit empowers us to pray in other tongues, and thus pray beyond the limitation of time and knowledge, handling situations that transcends human knowledge, thereby making us victors rather than being victims of circumstances. What a treasure we have in God’s Spirit!
By praying in other tongues today, you can move into the Control Tower in the spirit and order your life aright by the help of God’s Spirit. Little prayers here and there puts you in charge in the realms of the spirit, so do not hesitate to pray in the Holy Ghost today as often as you can so you can take charge and navigate life correctly by the help of God’s Spirit. Startup Prayer: Father in the name of Jesus, I thank you for the guidance of your Spirit in the place of prayer. Help me to be fully yielded to your leading as you teach me and show me the way to go today, in Jesus Name.
PRAYER FOR A NATION – SOUTH SUDAN
South Sudan is the world’s newest country. The nation was born in a great spirit of unity, happiness, and hope. Thank God for freedom from the long, painful domination by the north Sudan which is now mainly Arab and Muslim, while South Sudan is mainly Black and Christian.
Prayer for the nation:
Father in the name of Jesus, we ask for wisdom upon the government of the nation to prevent the occurrence of wars and division, in Jesus’ name.
Prayer for the leaders: Father in the name of Jesus, we ask that you will help the leaders to make godly choices that will bring growth and development to the nation, in Jesus’ name.
PRAYER FOR ISRAEL – (Ps 122:6)
Father in the name of Jesus, we ask today that there will be peace in Jerusalem and that your purposes be established in that city. Amen (Ps 122:6)
PRAYER FOR UNITY IN THE CHURCH
Father in the name of Jesus, we pray that the body of Christ will be united in all things in Jesus name.
PRAYER FOR SOULS/ REVIVAL
Father in the name of Jesus, we pray for an outpour of your Spirit upon our cities and its environs, that in every place, men, women, youths and even children will begin to call on you and seek you, in Jesus name.
