Live Now: LEAD ME BY YOUR MERCY – Praying the Promises 21th Dec. 2023
DECEMBER 21 , 2023
NO CONDEMNATION
Matthew 12:7 -“But if ye had known what this meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice, ye would not have condemned the guiltless.”
When the Apostle Paul first came into the picture in the scriptures, he was called Saul; a man who gave his life for one purpose: persecuting the believers at all cost. He cut the picture of a chronic, unrepentant anti-Christ. Yet, a few chapters later, after his encounter with Christ he was a firebrand preacher who was willing to lay down his life to preach the Gospel.
How are you sure that your next-door neighbour or colleague who you consider to be the worst sinner ever is not going to encounter God and become a preacher before the year is over? Why condemn Him now when you can stay on your knees for him in prayers, asking for God to show him mercy? Why condemn Him when you can reach out and witness to Him?
God does not condemn anyone, neither should you. You however need to spend time praying for the lost around you and witnessing to them so that like Apostle they can receive the light of the Gospel and become ambassadors of the kingdom of God. This is your assignment!
