PRACTICE SEEKING GOD EARLY
James 4:8
“O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is.”
In our opening text, David expresses his deep longing for God, and stating his eagerness to seek the Lord as a matter of priority – early in the day. Similarly, when the Lord Jesus walked the earth, He had a habit of seeking God early through prayer. We see this In Mark 1:35 and Luke 4:42.
There is something special about seeking God early, at the beginning of our day. Such a covenant practice sets the tone for our entire day before the busyness takes over. It is from these quiet moments spent with the Lord that great strategies to take possession of your inheritance will be birthed.
This is why you must prioritize your fellowship and devotion with God daily, especially in the early hours when there is little or no distraction or conflicting demands.
When you do so, you acknowledge your dependence on God and invite Him to be the center of your day. Those who seek Him early in such a way have an assurance of finding Him always! (Prov. 8:17)

Startup Prayer: Father in the name of Jesus, help me today to prioritize your Presence as I seek you early, in Jesus’ name Amen.
PRAYER FOR A NATION -SLOVAKIA.
Trained christians are lacking in the nation. There is an essential need for appropriate training for both leaders and believers. Though Bible Schools are available in the country, the wisdom regarding accreditation is however needed.
Prayer for the nation: Father in the name of Jesus, we come against every strategy of the devil to turn the hearts of the people away from God. Cause there to be open doors for the propagation of the Gospel in Slovakia, in Jesus’ name.
Prayer for the leaders: Father in the name of Jesus, raise unto yourself leaders in every strata of Government that will institutionalize prayer and the fear of God among the people, in Jesus Name.
PRAYER FOR ISRAEL – (Ps 122:6)
Father in the name of Jesus, we ask today that there will be peace in Jerusalem and that your purposes be established in that city. Amen (Ps 122:6)
PRAYER FOR UNITY IN THE CHURCH
Father in the name of Jesus, we pray that the church will be a formidable force in bringing a mighty revival on the earth, in Jesus name.
PRAYER FOR SOULS/ REVIVAL
Father in the name of Jesus, we pray that the light from our church will so shine that our cities will gather and come unto us to know our God, in Jesus name.
