PREPARE AN OFFERING
“Genesis 8:21
And the Lord smelled a sweet savour; and the Lord said in His heart, I will not again curse the ground anymore for man’s sake ”
One of the ways we have learnt to appreciate our loved ones is by presenting them with gifts. This is an attempt to express how much they mean to us. With those gifts, we create a memorial of our love and commitment to them.
In the same way, an offering to God in thanksgiving is a memorial before Him – a sweet smelling savour. Take note of God’s response to the offering of Noah as seen in our opening text today.
He resolved not to curse the ground anymore, which is the source of man’s food and sustenance. In other words, Noah’s sacrifice had such an effect on the Lord because it was well-received.
Therefore, you too can learn to earn God’s favour by practicing the same scriptural principle). Make a decision in your heart to thank the Lord in a big way this season.
Resolve not to appear before Him empty-handed, remembering that if it had not been for His grace and power, you would not have made it. So, predetermine what you would offer unto Him as you express your gratitude to Him. Truly, a blessing awaits you!

Father in the name of Jesus, give me the wisdom to prepare and present an acceptable offering before you in gratitude, in Jesus Name.

Prayer for the leaders: Father in the name of Jesus, we pray that the leaders of this nation will be led and guided by your Spirit in all things, in Jesus Name.
PRAYER FOR ISRAEL – (Ps 122:6)
Father in the name of Jesus, we ask today that there will be peace in Jerusalem and that your purposes be established in that city. Amen (Ps 122:6)
PRAYER FOR UNITY IN THE CHURCH
Father in the name of Jesus, we pray that the church will stand firm and perfect in the will of God, in Jesus name.
PRAYER FOR SOULS/ REVIVAL
Father in the name of Jesus, we come against every strongholds of the enemy that will hinder the message of our laborers and missionaries, in Jesus name.
